26 – 28 APRIL 2024
2ND CINEBA! FILM FESTIVAL
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The CineBa! Film Festival brings together South Africa’s community-focused filmmakers, industry professionals, film enthusiasts, and the general public to celebrate and showcase local films. It serves as a platform for filmmakers to present their work to a wider audience and develop the cultural potential of African cinema.
The theme for the 2024 edition is “Tempermanence”, a portmanteau of temporary and permanence to analyse discussions such as the erasure of culture, the emergence of modernity, the complications of moral relativity, the histories of ethnic strife and the ways people find meaning within their identities.
Doors open at 12:00 daily from 26 – 28 April 2024 at 56 Oliver Tambo Road, Bloemfontein Central. Attendance is free for all. RSVP here to attend.
